Hi Peter
Thought about buying those two when Mike first offered them on here.
Decided that I could not take them on as well as my existing ones.
Might have to think again if the price stays low.
Have a good engine ready that would drop straight in.
Would need to add to the picnic though.

I think he is referring to the 'picnic' in my field Paul.

Hi Paul
Peter is right that the comment was targetted on the recent photos of the XM picnic in his field.
Beyond checking that it could work out I had not given any thought on where I would actually move Mikes 2.5's too if I bid and win them.
The suitable engine with you needs a major service (belts) and checking for source of the persistant oil leak.
The spare engine down here is ready to swap now but I well might do belts and water pump just in case despite not due.
Not very much in that really, move distance much the same, few spares to send.
Would need to know if the "scrapper" was capable of going back on the road to decide its future and direction.
I suspect the price will go too high anyway.

That went for a very low price and the interior looked superb.

Re: Are you still collecting these John?
It did not reach its reserve so I doubt Mike parted with them.
Tan always looks good in photos.
