I had every intention of sorting her out... The intention so strong that I have EVERYTHING needed to sort her out bar a couple of small things.
As most of you know, 1993 K plate V6 SEi auto. Showing 140k on the clock, but has added bonus I fitted a Mono Point LPG System on her which STILL WORKS!
The project. The nearside rear sill has gone through and has a good hole in it.
The engine could do with replacment. It still starts and runs but sounds a bit tapperty and uses a small amount of oil. The good bit. I HAVE GOT a 90k engine and auto box for her to go in!!
Rear subframe developed an annoying rattle like a drop link. I never found it. But a complete rear subframe is here for her!
Laquer peel on the front end on the bonnet, nose cone, and IIRC passenger wing. ALL have been offered to me, so I can get them ALL to go with her!
All windows work, seats leather and heated - heaters dont work. Electric arm rest. Wood console. Air con up graded to later R134a system. Did have slight pressure in it when I unhooked the dryer so possibly could still work subject to a Vac and re gas. The keypad code cover works too!
Cruise control Did work. cant remember now, no doubt still can work.
Auto selector cable has siezed.. so I have to select the appropiate gear and use my Press Button start to move her at the moment. Selector cable and lever available!
ABS Light is on, however to my surprise when I used her the ABS still worked!!
Poor strut top (Not sure which side it is!)
What I dont have. Spheres to go on. Exhaust is a little rusty, has a slight blow, but I may even have one of those for you too!!
I DO have a full set, and yes this model of SEi should be colour coded and have these "24v Style" alloys.
Car is subject to a review by a new member, but Ive not heard anything. I shall report back when I do.
Anyone brave enough?? £500 with EVERYTHING!
