I removed the inner glass from one of my saloons recently to carry a spare V6 engine that was all fairly easy and I do not recall having done it before in six years of owing the car!! Regards, Matthew T.

maybe it's just me - but as I load mine up every weekend, and used my R Reg VSX once and never again, I hated the screen. I found it a pain as I loaded 15 cases into the boot and then added five boards on top.

Did I say that?The XM and Xantia are very different cars and impossible to say that one is better then the otehr as they occupy, for me ast least, different niches. The Activa is for sheer fun; the V6 is perfect for the day to day stuff and the occasional long journey along fast roads and motorways But the XM is a car to enjoy for it's comfort and atmosphere; more about getting there than actually arrriving. A car to enjoy gently wafting along scenic roads and byways when you're not in a great hurry to get somewhere. A car to enjoy the drive in. The Activa is a car to enjoy the drive in but for entirely different reasons whilst the V6 is a car to get you very effectively from point A to point B quickly and efficiently when the emphasis is on getting there.
The XM just induces in me a different, more relaxed and laid-back attitude that the Xantias don't. And with what's going on in my life right now that's just what I need
Hope that makes some kind of sense?
I know something: the XM is more characterful...
