Few bits needed

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Few bits needed

Post by charlotte » Sun Jan 13, 2013 9:19 am

Hello!

Belphegor is settling in well, I do however need a couple of bits to make him perfect. It would seem he was owned by a maniac who removed all the trim and then tried to put it back on, breaking most things!

NSF side light (it's cracked);
Hinges for the pointless internal window that I want to re-fit, that will irritate me and I will remove in the summer again when camping season arrives;
Blanking switch (electric window) for the passenger side, and the little plastic frame it sits in next to the functioning switch;
Rear light clusters if possible - aforementioned maniac painted them, realised it looked gash and then tried scraping it off.

A S2 steering wheel would be nice but not essential as it's all crumbly at 2 o'clock.

Also, on the back of the front seats the leather has been pulled out. It's not ripped or damaged, it's got "rails" on the edges which have been pulled out of their rightful place. Any tips on repairing this?

Thanks chaps (and chapesses) :) xxx

However if you want the whole clusters then them too are also a yes. but what color centre bits??

cant do side light want to keep all those for my own lot sorry...

Hi

The seat back leather side clamps are black plastic extrusion strips.
They each are fixed to the steel frame with 4 small screws.
Breakage is common allowing the trim panel to go slack.
The trim panel has "L" plastic strip stiched to the top and sides.
These plastic strips slide into the plastic extrusion strips.
Once all this is assembled on the seat the screws are on the inside.
It all goes together easily.
Getting it apart again even with broken extrusion strips is not easy.
I have recovered enough for my needs from spare seats but a good number of strips got broken in the process.
Never looked to see if Citroen sell them.
