Yes, absolutely! I plan to upgrade them too, just to be on the safe side. My brother had a strut go through the bonnet of my 1994 TCT - luckily at slow speed. It's not something I'd like to repeat.

That car doesn't look too bad Ray.

Mechanical work is cheaper and easier to rectify that the very visible body work and upholstery.

Thanks Robert. It already looks much better from simply having a wash...

Work will now begin exchanging the ICE between the TCT and 24V, then I'll put a new MOT and 6 months tax on the TCT and it will be ready for sale. The proceeds will fund the work on the 24V. That's the theory anyway

Hey, that pic looks like my drive - an XM and an Alfa 166!

Only those both look much shinier and nicer than mine ...

The 166 (2.5 manual) used to be my brother Graham's, but he sold it when he bought a better one (a Sportronic 3.0 with leather). On the drive behind the camera is my 1992 164 12v manual Lusso.

Just spotted (W646 OFJ) has been RE-LISTED by Ray.

I did notice his TCT on E-bay (Before Christmas, but never bothered posting it up) so I hoped that we'd be seeing the updates and progress reports on this one (but hes had to let go of this one too), what a shame









But at least we have some new photo's of it
