Restore.. possibly use it.. but if someone offers me 700 when it has a full mot then i may consider a sell... it may even have a new clutch in too at some point.. its not slipping but feels a bit heavy ish.. perhaps from sitting..

Just curious. That's all..I thought it looks like a lot of work, from this side of the computer screen..But it seems like a nice project to get going!

Perhaps the paint ran out on the 'E' Paul, anyway it looks like it is Gris Silex!! Regards, Matthew T.

Good job Paul, this seems to be turning into a good car. Is there any welding at all to do on it?
It certainly looks like it needs a good rust treatment and underseal however....Huh, nothing new there, but I bet this will scrub up nicely.

I would keep it for a bit.

Currently Im VERY pleased to say NO NO WELDING needed...

After my H reg SED and H reg 24v manual both needing subframe mounting area welding done, I was eager to get under and look around... and very pleased with all results!!

REMEMBER: This car has sat for a few years, and more so the last 8 months in Seascale! Which is in Cumbria Lakes, and right on the WEST Coast!

So, im mighty impressed with her!!

A good bit of wire brushing and some good protection will see it excellent again...

Are you going to drop the rear subframe so you can really do the rust proofing properly?

Haddn't thought that far! Idealy would like to drop the nearside just to visually check the condition of the pipes in the pipe clips.. so I know if I will be going in there again or not in the future IF I keep it that long...

This is what happened with the D that Vince bought off me, a planned parts car because the owner was gonna scrap it, but when I saw it... WOW! Hence Vince owning it now.

The ONLY p i s s o f f is the rear window thats broken....
