Fancy a multimedia?

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Poor defenceless 24v v6 - what they hell did they go and do that to it for? :o

Who'd want all that plastic wood spread all over the place and mark it easily
if you stare at it long enough interior? Not really a great buy is it either?
Maybe it only uses £99 per litre fluid too? :?

Me :) .
Given the choice of plastic wood or plastic plastic, I'll go for the plastic wood every time.
I don't share Citroen's love of black plastic.

Anyway, what makes you so sure it's plastic Andrew, perhaps it was carved out of a very expensive lump of Walnut.......about 18,000 Euros worth in fact

Actually, the price isn't that bad when converted to GBP.......it's only a little over £17,000 :?

It could of course be that Walsey House Motors have been reading our negative coments on here and have decided to start selling their cars on the Continent.......

Nice colour anyway.
And I like the cream leather, makes a nice change from black.
In fact, apart from the price I think it's a very nice car. I think the mileage is about 120,000 miles isn't it?

One more thing..............what is a Multimedia? :?

The Multimedia was a special edition created by Citroen.

The colour is specific to that model. The seats are cream leahter and alcantara, it has that awful plastic wood that Andrew has already commented on. Only available as a V6 model as well. Other gimics like Xsara picasso style fold up tables on the back of the front seats.

It was meant to be a technological showcase, it had integrated Sat Nav etc, that's the screen that blocks off one of the heater vents. Only 50 of them ever made.

This links shows some more snaps of the Multimedia.

I like it :D but that allycanti suede puts me off :( and what's that tatty plywood box covering the satnav CD all about? I've heard of spoiling a ship for a ha'porth of tar, but that's ridiculous!

The owner on Planete Citroen was obviously proud of it - justifiably so.

And the picnic tables in the back have got cup holders! Now I am jealous

Not sure about the name though. Multimedia - sounds like a Fiat!

This wasn't their first attempt at loading a XM with technology.

Have a look at this video of the XM ALTO.

Loads of stuff that is becoming the norm on top of the range cars now.
