Re: WANTED various bits
Hi Messer..
There was a radio and CD Changer for S2 (The Phillips unit) at X Rally.. Ive no idea if it sold or not, but you could try asking the Seller, who is a member on here.
Door locks yes I can help with.. and I DO have some working sunroof unit BUT I want to check first if Ive enough of them for the 2 cars I want to keep. I cant remember if I have 2 or 4 of them...
I think S2 door buttos are different to S1 though they do fit.. Theres a profile difference I think..
I may have them too...

I have a S1 sunroof, complete and working. Are they different to S2?

Re: WANTED various bits
Paul
The radio is less of an issue as I will simply use the S1 radio I have, the new XM one cuts out after an hour or so and I'm not the kind of person who'd swap over the good one in the car that I am selling after a deal has been made.
If the radio and cd changer owner is one here, get in touch!
WHM have sunroof units but they're £125 and collect only from Diss, and I can't live without a working sunroof
. If one is spare, Paul, let me know the damage and I will sort it out and try sort out a pony express. The sunroof is identical for hatches and estates and S1 or S2 - it's an off the shelf part as fitted to a multitude of French cars. Current one is sealed up.
A couple of other things that need sorted, I have already - such as a decent switch for the driver's window, and a couple of bits of trim. AM about 3/4 of the way through sorting out the seat swap over but one of the screws that holds the front passenger side door card on in the new one is knackered and needs drilled out.

Re: WANTED various bits
£125 is a good price for one as they seem a little hard to find in working order..
Ohh. the fella who had the Radio and CD unit was Marc61..
Send him a PM about it. I never caught up with him again after I saw Marc in the late morning...

Re: WANTED various bits
Paul, it wasn't the price that is a problem, (although it isn't much more expensive to buy a scrapper to dismantle), but the collection from deepest, darkest Norfolk which is a ten hour return drive and 450 miles return trip.

Re: WANTED various bits
What is wrong with the sunroof in the car, they can normally be repaired quite easily unless the cables have snapped.

Re: WANTED various bits
Marc
let me know re sunroof too - have PM'd regarding the radio cassette.
Will, at the moment it's all sealed up with sealant, and I am guessing there's a leak problem in there - and, yes, I could take it out and sort it all, but am feeling lazy and fancy whipping it out and just fitting the new sunroof unit straight in, while then ending with a spare that may or may not work.
I'm too busy changing the trim to fiddle with the roof just yet.
I've removed one before so know it isn't too difficult a job to sort out and replace- just a lot of trim to come off first.
