The ONLY thing thats gonna be left on the D im working on will be a shell with some parts cut out of it, and the passenger rear door! Boot lid is comming off..
Im gonna cut the rear subframe cross member mounts off for the SED Manual I have.. and rear nearside leading edge of the arch for something else..

I dunoo, have a look at my SD Manual Blog...
Also have a look at my 24v Blog, the "Another 24v Update" Blog... Nothing will phase me!!
Id do this D, but with milage and doors and tyres needed and highish milage for joe public I decided I could do with parts...

Well Matthew thinks this one can be saved. So I wonder what welding it needs. If this car was central to everyone, would make it so much easier to decide to break it or for someone to save it.
I forget the mileage now. But at least cosmetically it looks good.

So I went over to have another look at the car last week and following the addition of some LHM she eventually creaked back up on the suspension as I had hoped. Basically the condition is very sound if a little untidy, with all the body panels straight and undamaged and unusually for this colour no peeling lacquer that I spotted. The only significant rust is to the nearside lower front wing and in the adjacent wheel arch at the base there is a hole as quite often the case. Both front jacking points are badly damaged but no doubt could be straightened out. After raising the car I had a better look underneath and the rear sub-frame only seems to have surface rust with what appeared to be a fairly new exhaust fitted. The front nearside tyre is almost bald but the other tyres look okay including quite a new Michelin on the front offside.
In conclusion I think the car is probably too good to break, but is there anyone willing to take her on? I think I have covered other details in my earlier posts, but please get in touch if interested with any queries.
Regards,
Matthew T.
