Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Bizzarely, Mrs Dm drove one of the Xm's yesterday, for the first time in a looooong time. She was hesitant at first, but once she came back home said she preferred it to the Mercedes as it was easier to place on the road and a nicer ride.

I took the SM out today, garaged it on my return and then had to pop out in the Merc. It was like moving from a luxury liner to a haywain.

Jason has put new spheres on the rear and the middle thingy. All it needs to be like the SM is softer spheres, Diravi and a Maserati engine (plus the odd other bit!).

I was a passenger int he Merc yesterday and really noticed the jiggly ride, even compared to my Cobalt XM, which is a less complaint than the Mandarin one.

Sorting spheres is easy, but if it needs any more, I would recommend either genuine Citroen ones or IFHS from AEP.

There will be some jobs to do to sort this car (it's 17 years old), but it should work well once done.

I think Jason ended up with new IFHS ones on the rear. Fronts look reasonably new and closely resemble the ones being sold by AEP.

I am going to have a good ride in mine until I am pretty certain that it is worth a chat with a specialist (one recommended to me in Welwyn - BL Autos, who I want to chat to about the SM.) Any other suggestions welcome!

Hi
Is the XM still for sale? If so would like to come down to have a look. I live in Merseyside. Where are you?

It's been sold - I bought it last Friday. Given where you are you could try Savoy Garage in Burnley - they have some XMs for sale.
