XM 2.0 Si Turbo 1992/3 S1 manual - non runner FOR SALE

The time has come to part with my beloved XM! She has been parked up for the last year when the head gasket went and i was quoted way more than i could afford to get it repaired because it is harder to replace on the turbo model apparently!
Someone suggested to me to try some steel seal to sort the problem so i got some but then when i tried to start her she has developed an electrical fault which i cant seem to trace. There appears to be no spark at the plugs on turnover? Anyway i do not have time to sort any more as i have several other projects to be getting on with!

I will put her on ebay if nobody on here is interested in making me an offer but i would prefer her to go to a good home even if it is to be for spares.
The car is in great shape really for an early example with no major dints or scratches in fact the paintwork is excellent. Interior is also very good although it is not leather. The interior boot window is perfect as is the parcel shelf, floor mats, radio etc etc. Also has Jellyfish alloy wheels. The internal electrics were fine (when i last used the car) like windows and sunroof, central locking, lights, under bonnet lamp etc.

The speedo stopped working about 3 months prior to head gasket problem. i had trouble trying to source a replacemnet cable! The car probably did less than 300 miles in this time though as it has only ever been a second car. The speedo reads 72,000 so its a really low milage car. The guy i bought it from several years ago only ever had it as a second car and he kept it in a garage most of its life.

Pics are from when it was running obviously but nothing different except it needs a good clean!

I know its not worth that much in this condition but i don't want to see it scrapped so all offers considered. Located in Penistone, Sheffield.

Shes more like a 1992/3 being on a K plate. Dont think the Turbo engine was about on 1991..

What a stunning car in condition, I know you said these arent the newest pics but if they are to go by..

Manual TCT cars are now Scarse due to the Puggerisers in the Late 90's early 2000... I would take this on, but Money is a SERIOUS issue for me..

Thanks for the year info (which ive edited) I was trying to work it out from the k but guessed wrong - not far off though! Cheers!

I also meant to say the dot matrix display works perfectly too with no missing bits!

S1 cars ALways do work, the failing Dot Matrix on the Left is a Series Two car issue, and they are not compatible..

Wow...what an interesting colour. It looks a really tidy car. Needs to be saved....it would make a very nice diesel manual!!!!
