XM 2.0 Si Turbo 1992/3 S1 manual - non runner FOR SALE

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Inter-cooler and rad are the same (petrol pipes are different). Filler neck needs the petrol restriction pulling out.

Drive shafts are the same. Exhaust is different.

If you have the complete derv wiring loom you are flying. All you will need to do is provide ignition fed live to the stop solenoid on the pump and you are good to go.

Gosh how spooky that is a carbon copy of my 1992 car with the same colour and a manual box, except mine is sei spec!
I hope she is repaired rather than dieselised or scrapped as S1 petrol turbos are now quite rare beasts and especially manuals and in my opinion also very desirable!! Regards, Matthew T.

Have you got one that colour then Matthew? Thought your grey 2.0 was like my grey. I think this one is more of a paler greeny grey than anthracite.
To me at least, it definitely seems more green.

So Paul what would you charge to have it dieselised?

No, wrong question Will. It should be 'Has anyone got a spare engine and AUTOMATIC gearbox?'

The problem for me is that this car has too many pedals in the driver's footwell..

How about doing an ES9 V6 and HP20 conversion on it? I believe it's quite feasible and not as tricky as it might first look...

Paul, an ideal destination for the engine and gearbox from that Xantia V6 you're breaking ;)

Because in reality jim most people cannot afford to run a v6 with the stupid fuel prices..

So the derv is the most affordable way forward in these expensive world we live in.

I know Paul and I agree, just throwing in an idea!!!

I can only afford to run a V6 as a daily driver because the mileage I do on a weekly basis is much less than most people do in a day...
