Selling off one (or bits

) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Presumably you wish to replace it because the semi-circular 'tinware' part has rotted away. When this happened to mine I removed all traces with an angle grinder leaving the bare frame and then welded on some extra 6mm rods to re-inforce it and painted it. OK the wheel now sits in the open but if you are bothered it can always be wrapped up in heavy duty garden bin bag to protect it from the elements.

I believe there's a few amongst the stocks of rocking horse poo, rainbow ends, hen's teeth, sane XM design engineers and honest politicians.
I guess it's gone on the 2 into 1 joint. The metal of the boxes and pipes is quite thick and perfectly amenable to repairs. Mine has been and is good. Normally they only crack at the joint rather than rusting away.
P D Gough make a stainless one for an eyewatering sum. £800 or so I believe.
Else get a mortgage and buy one from Citroen UK.

Is that for the whole shooting match Malcolm or just the transverse and back boxes?
If for the lot than that's good but one fear I always have with stainless systems is their noise level and tendency to drum and/or boom...
The V6 is supposed to be a very quiet and refined car; I'd hate to do anything that changes that..
