VERY interesting V6 PRV 24v Project! Not a Cit though

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I think when the price drops a bit lower the guy will end up breaking it which is a shame as the front subframe looks almost new and the rear one could easily be brought back upto scratch to match up.

Considering whats needed for it dropping another engine on would be the easier task and keep that one for any good spares or to build up when you had the time and see if it ran :)

The block numbers wouldn't match the V5 anymore but that can easily be changed with the DVLA to keep it as original as possible. Also needs the wheel centre caps... Good luck finding those things in this country, i bet even pug dont have them anymore!

Lately I like 605s more and more, wouldn't mind at all having one, even caught myself thinking the other day of a td21 605, should any come along. The interior I always thought "how did they manage that?" but, little by little, it's growing on me. The leather on that one is impeccable.

And look at the underside on that one, yes!

This one (24v) must have the electronic dampers control which, afair from seeing a diagram, uses the same sensors as an XM -and therefore I presume ECU too! Same intelligence, just with springs! 605s had excellent road manners afair from period tests...

Red Drawfers on here has a 605 TD with his collection.

Yes the 605 24v did have electronic dampers...

605 is quite a rare machine now, far rarer then the XM..

Do you not possibly have some prv 24v bits Paul to make one good engine from the lot?!

I've got a spare prv 24 engine here with heads but it has suffered the wear issue that early engines did.

I'm now intending to remove one head and take to either X rally or cxm to dismantle and see what's what in there.

Other then this no.. no spare cam shaft no valve lifters nothing!
