For the short beam, I suspect you mean as we call it, headlamp dip beam, that is likely to be the relay mounted behind the left headlamp. Either the relay, or the socket it fits into.
A/c could be the relay mounted on the front of the Ecu box on the right inner wing.
It could be more involved, we need to know what what exactly happens.

I can't see the original images, but suspect the unusual levers on the seats, mentioned in the early posts, are the seatbelt pre-tensioner locks, which are service items only and are meant to be removed in operation, otherwise the pre-tensioner can't operate: Probably sorted after six years though...

RP 6282 makes it a very late Series 1, let alone V6-24.
