Tis I Russ! Should bee back in the XM fold soon. It'll be a couple of weeks before I collect the car but should be calling in to the northern rally on the way back.

Fantastic Graeme, well done. So you couldn't be without one for long. it's the same colour as mine too, in fact the only two I know of in this odd grey colour. Glad it has gone to a forum member.

Thanks folks, yes I basically swapped the blue SD Auto for a CX Pallas (seemed like a good idea at the time..) but increasingly I was missing the XM, especially after a found a photo of it taken from the window of the flat of the XM across the street - there's something poingiant about 'front window' car pictures! Anyway, I contacted the XM's new owner - a friends of mine who runs a DS garage in London and I half expected him to tell me he'd had it half a year and that is was not quite as good as the series 2 XM Estate he bought from Wolsey House at the same time. Well, instead he tells me it is the best XM he's had and it's not hit 90K miles! Argh, o well what can you do!

Then I spotted Matthew's car and that changed things..

I hope to pop into the Northern rally on the Friday evening but will head home that night. I will then be back at the Northern on the Sunday morning with CX parts for sale (not much use on here I know)

Ah! it seems I will not be popping into the Northern rally on Friday the 16th because the rally has been moved to the following week - 23-24-25th May So I'll be there on the Sunday!
