Hi Rohan,

Is this your 'C&C' F/S advert or is it a spotted F/S posting, as you state in your signature being the custodian of a '2.1TD Exclusive'

Also what made things confusing/coincidental was the fact in a recent posting of yours, you mention trouble with a driver door check strap too !

Hmm, I'd like to know this too, Norman I have the same problem that you do- the mounting on the body has cracked. Now when I get home and open my door fully, it sounds like a rifle shot echoes across the street. This obviously cannot go on- for the sake of both the XM, and my neighbours!!

I have owned this Xm for approx 5 or 6 years it has 11 months mot & 5 months tax, the XM benefits from a New o/s/f door check strap, cambelt kit, water pump, coolant, auxilary belt & tensioner, recent in most recent order, front pads, Lhm change, clutch & clutch cable, full service, sphere's.
Great drive with working A.c, There is a couple of minor faults 1 being the outside air temperature sensor in the nsf mirror, (1 of the first jobs I had done on this car when I first had it) the other is the heater motor resistor has just started to play up preventing heater motor speed adjustment.

Hence the initial question, so if it is your XM which is F/S you need to state what the current mileage stands at, along with photo-shots of under the bonnet/engine (Not forgetting the Strut-tops), and the interior too, to help with a sale

Also I see a 'CLUB-XM' sticker in the back window too !

I think the car is in weston-super-mare but Rommel is in Glasgow as, I once lived there myself, and when I see his name on a post I always think "that's a long way from north africa"

It is indeed very rare, I think manuals were only available to special order after 1996. I like the colour to, one of my estates was the same. I think someone on the club has a late manual estate that colour or did have, can't remember who though.

Hello XMX, as you may well have realised by now, it isn't my car! I though it noteworthy due to the rarity of this engine/gearbox/EPIC combination.

Were I selling mine....yes, I am fairly sure there would have been more information!
