Just that tim... the sunroof unit. It bolts to the roof after the roof liner is removed but be warned.. for some reason.. they are heavy. But check it works well n smoothly.. cables a common fail..

My one is sealed up so I have no idea if it works. I suspect it's been sealed up because of blocked drains. I suppose it;s no problem to stick a battery on it and see what happens.

Yea leaks not always related to not working.. it could be one of the drain tubes causing a leak.. id be inclined to try it..

Blasting ...well I still own 20% of a soda blasting company. Wouldn't take more than 10 minutes with light grade blasting glass and an industrial blasting pot.

Nope, thats fitted to my XM! This one came from my spares car and is a different type, its hidden behind the bumper rather than being exposed like some sort of rear facing bull bar.
