Parts required please

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I will look for jacking point covers as I delve into the pile.
For the pipe get it made up with the large head nuts rather than the small thin Citroen ones.
I will do this if you give me size and length.

Hi dean.

I have rounded up washer bottle filler with lid but not attached anymore.. a filler to bottle seal rubber.. a mounting rubber ring to go on one end.. and both indicator wires to the front wings.

whats the pipe you want .. rubber or metal pipe?

Thank you both!

Paul its the rubber return hose that comes off the top of the ABS block then gathers in with the return line from the pressure regulator and then up to the lhm tank.

If nobody has any lower wing securing clips its no problem but it would be nice to have a picture of one and i can fabricate it...................

John, go carefull in there!

Ahh its typical citroen and is part of a complete return manifold maze... not a single pipe in its own right.

id not want to cut one up really dean. It goes to the back of the engine bay where it meats the PAS rack return pipe and goes up to the tank. I think the flow divider and pressure regulator leak returns also meet it and are part of it.

im sure the lower wing clip are simply a U clip squeezed together because the area the wing meets is raised to meet the bottom... and the clip is simlly pushed on to hold them.

I might be wrong but I thought the lower wings were usually spot welded? With regards, Matthew T.

Nope, row of bolts along the bonnet shut, two in the door jamb, one in the lower rear of the wheel arch, a clip on the Cill and a weak spot weld on the tab to the outrigger that is sandwiched by the bumper mounting bolts at the front of the wheel arch, thats probably the one your thinking of Matthew.

Yes I do recall the spot weld against the bumper mounting Dean, although most of my car wings have been off before and therefore do not now have either the weld or the original lower wing fixing! If you can drill a small hole in the front jacking point a screw should suffice to hold the wing in that location. With regards, Matthew T.
