Selling off one (or bits

) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Found out! Yes the CX and XM are up for grabs due to uncertain futures I'm afraid..

Very sorry to hear that Graeme. Talk about the one an only chance to really replace my old XM.. Albeit in petrol guise.
I hope they go to good homes both of them.

It was really disappointing to hear that my old car is already seeking a new home Graeme and if I had the space and funds I would be very tempted to take her back! With regards, Matthew T.

Thanks Russ, such is life. It's not critical yet just making moves to try and cover in the event of work disruption in the very near future. But the Cx is away in storage now so that's one good point.
I'm quite disappointed myself Matthew!

Unless one has borrowed money to buy a car, how much will be gained by selling them?

A cash sum might be gained.
Have you never sold some item before?

I haven't sold capital assets before for that kind of value. You will still need to fund a car to use.

I don't strictly need a car at all - I'm a road cyclist and I only work 9 miles from home. I just happen to also be a Citroen enthusiast and have two old Citroens.
Anyway, things have changed in the last couple of days and now the CX is safely in storage so the XM is my sole car for the forseeable future and not such an urgency to sell, XMs don't exactly fly off the shelves anyway so no danger of disappointing any potential buyer..

It was good to hear you might be keeping the XM after all Graeme and I posted you the spare key earlier today. With regards, Matthew T.
