Wanted: Bosch 2.1 injection pump

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I admittedly took the expensive option and had my pump totally resealed with our local Diesel specialist. If you can get the pump off Vince, you might have someone able to reseal it for £250...possibly cheaper. If your brave there is a good how to write up on it somewhere. The actual Bosch seal kits are only about £15. Mine however was totally overhauled, new stop solenoid, completely cleaned up and it was all reset and re calibrated. The car was transformed after this and ran beautifully. So although it was a bit of a hit on the wallet, I think for my one it was worth it. Problem is I really want it on my mandarin one now!

Fair enough Russ for wanting to keep it for your mandarin one ;)

No doubt my pump seals have deteriorated whilst the car has been stood not running for a year and half  The car has always run fantastically since buying it from Paul and its had such extensive engine work done in its recent history im sure the pump is otherwise tip top. A seal kit im sure will do the trick to have it purring again.

In the meantime, i may have found a solution to help me stay mobile whilst the old pump gets re-sealed ;)

Yikes! nice price. A full pump reseal with labour and vat is cheaper than that.

I'd never buy that new one but get the old one resealed.

I have Rohan but is it the same pump? Someone said it was from an auto?

If they are the same, I'll still get the one that Paul has as he is going to swap it over for me aswell, but i might be interested in yours anyway? ;) Let me see how this week goes.....
