Was outside earlier and a white van man on the street wandered over complimenting the xm and saying how great a car it looks. Then ive just nipped to the recycling centre and got acosted by 3 of the workers there pouring over the car and asking me to give them a guided tour of it. They loved it
Never got any attention at all in the Qashqai

interesting, that never happens to me...nor Liz. Fact is both of our XM's are extremely dirty. And it's raining badly so I won't bother. Sorry to read about the job, hope you'll find something interesting soon.

Something will turn up soon Vince. I was made redundant two years ago - two days before Christmas in fact - I was somewhat cheesed off for a while, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Stay positive and keep looking.

Thanks guys,
Im really pleased in a strange way as i didn't enjoy my last company at all. I very much believe that things happen for a reason so Im sure something will turn up soon
Funny thing is i just received a headhunting phone call earlier on from an industry recruiter. He is going to set up a meeting with me next week with a very interesting sounding company.....see what happens

Vince, very sorry to hear about loosing your job. But it sounds like your future meeting is going to be an interesting one. Fingers crossed for you.
The trims must be spotless and cleaned with brake and clutch cleaner. Then the tape will stick. Warmth will definitely help.

Best of luck, Vince; in the end everything turns out for the best, if it hasn't turned out for the best yet, then it isn't the end. And other motivational bollocks! Do wish you well though.

Thanks for the tip Russ. I did think that there may still be traces of silicone polish on them plus being cold....
Ill definately try again and get it to work
