WANTED - Citroen XM mk2 fusebox/ignition switch

Hi all
It looks as though there is a fault with my fusebox - much electrical weirdness is happening. Fuse 9 is not getting power, so no windows, indicators, etc.
I've checked all the wiring, and there's nothing wrong, and everything routes back to either the fusebox or the ignition switch.
The car is an M-reg mk2 SX 2.1TD.

There are 2 versions of the fuse board:

6500F5 used on all series 1 cars, and series 2 until RP 6748
6500H4 used on series 2 cars from RP 6749

They are not interchangeable, so you should check your RP number, and that of any donor car.

The same ignition switch (4162X1) was used on all XMs.

Ignition switch wiring was different for early Mk1's.

Hi Station !

If your just after an ignition switch/barrel with a key(s) I have one available which came out a MK2 VSX 2.1TD which was on a 'M' plate !

I'll send you a PM (When I've located it ) !

I'm a bit puzzled about your problem: F9 accounts for some of your things not working, but not everything. F5 looks as if it might be involved, too.

Could you let us have the car's RP number (painted on the LH front door pillar, near the door hinges)?

Different models/years had a variety of different fuse usages and layouts, and we need to be looking at right circuitry.

So maybe a melted wire of the F9 bundle to somewhere else?

Inside the fuse board the common feed from the ignition switch splits to feed several fuses. If a track near the input has burned out, it will remove the feed from several fuses.

God knows! The fuse box is layered and I think it's related to either - the only way to check is to replace.
I'm not near the car at the moment (by 140 miles), but will be back on the weekend - does anyone have one anyway?
