WANTED Plug connector for coil on 2.0 Prestige 1992

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Interesting info.

As with all my French cars, dealer service and back up has been thoroughly disappointing right from my first Renault in 1977. As a business owner, it took a lot of patience and a degree of stupidity to consistently buy Citroens and Renaults . I guess having bought about 30 new ones in 37 years but none from the same dealer twice tells you a lot. And this is part of the reason why the XM was such a flop in the UK.

OK, stop now. All the Series 1 owners are officially jealous and impressed. If you want to dispose of any of your cast offs just let me know!!

There are a few bits that I need to tidy her up.

You are right, nothing major to sort thus far. I have sourced a few bits and bobs, still looking for the ashtray and power socket covers in the rear of the centre console.

With the rear window currently not closing fully she is tucked up in the garage and covered in the motorway filth from the run back from Taunton to Calne.

I am hoping to get her washed and photographed at the weekend.

I have spoken to John (XMExclusive) about sorting the rear window, sounds fun. I have also noticed that unsurprisingly there are a lot of blown bulbs that should be lighting up the LH side of the dash and heater controls. I have sourced a new and hopefully good RH LCD display so I see a dashboard strip and rebuild in the future.

I made the most of GSFs 25% Christmas discount on service parts to order a full set of filters/fluids and coolant etc.

The front bumper has a small split in each corner so I need to repair the holes and then spray the textured part to restore the black finish. That will then mean that I have to do all the side strips and the rear bumper!

I am aiming to get her to Burleigh House on 25 April as her first public outing.
