It's not the fuse box, it's the ignition switch. Took it out and the contact was frazzled inside the switch.
Things flew everywhere and I'm not bothering trying to put it back together again.
Tried a Xantia ignition switch which fits the barrel and connectors, but is also broken on the 'start engine/starter' position.
