What on earth is a sports mode spoiler?

Is that the one that flips up like they do on the C6? When you flick into sports mode, the car stiffens up AND pops up the spoiler.

What about the XM the other day that was advertised with the extra large capacity fuel tank option of 92 litres! Anyone else got a XM with that?

Hi Robert

That little gem interested me. Never seen any reference to a larger tank in Citroen documentation.
The only way to enlarge the tank is downwards and that would make it project below the floor pan.
Vunerable if plastic and heavy if a steel special.
I think the actual capacity of the standard plastic tank is about 85 litres and you can get another 5 or so litres in the filler pipe.
I usually tank fill and regularly get over 80 in.

I've never heard tell of a larger tank either. I suspect that where ever he fuels up, that the pump is over reading and he is getting ripped off! I usually get an average of 77 litres in. I don't have a trip computer and don't want to take too much of a chance.
