Recent exhaust front to rear SIDEWAYS box. Rear box replaced with a straight pipe due to missing rear most exhaust box hanger. custom mod, however it works well, and you wouldnt know.
Recent front discs and pads. Replacment parking brake cables, and drop links. All in very good order.
Front wings have some rust in the arch lips and the useual place down the bottom where they curve under the outside of the Cills. Some recent welding work on the front and rear of the off side Cill.. and all painted and protected up. Caused by bent jacking points...
Two Dull areas on the rear lower wings, see the pics. Always been like this for the last 7 years. Panels all straight etc.
Excellent front side lamps.
4 Decent tyres with loads of tread too!
New altenator belt. Air Con is fitted but has never been used in the 7 years owned by my mate, and Ive not seen to it either.
Car used lightly over the last 7 years averaging around 2k a year so had light use. Clutch good, no slipping and does not use any oil or water!
Inside. all fairly good, no serious issues, slight rip on rear top of back rest... no wood as its an early SEd.
Windows ALL work, heater controls all work, RH display shows time and temp but has slight but not serious bleeding of the LCD .. LH display works as it should as its a Series 1. Glovebox though, doesnt open, and catch of course is broken. ABS removed. Thats ECU removed, and ABS bulb and I have noticed a sensor missing at the front. Brakes however are perfectly GOOD and work well and pull up nicely!
144k or so. Car WILL have a full MOT on it, so subject to insurance and tax could be driven away.
Please be aware, its NOT directly my car. Shes not perfect, and not a show stopper, but perfectly useable and presentable. The Grey plastic side moulds, scuttle trim and sides and mirrors have been painted black for presentability.
My mate is looking for £700. Does not want the car to goto any one, to be used a year then left.
I think the price is about right. I could possibly find an ABS ECU and a sensor if the ABS was wanted to be sorted out.
