Hi Rob, my car has both air con and sunroof which I like as it gives me the choice. There is a small amount of rust on one corner of the leading edge which I'm going to tackle when the weather improves - but no leaks. This is my second white XM and as I said, not really a fan, always feel a bit self conscious when driving them, feel like I should be wearing a fur coat and lots of gold chains and blasting reggae a full blast from the sound system !!! No offence to you who own them.

The nearest Wiltshire gets to multi-cultural is allowing Wadworths and Arkells to be served in the same pub!

Nice looking motor. I like white on the XM, my first one was a white 16 valve. If you are much over 6ft then a non sun roof car is very desirable, having had four with, my one without is far more comfortable for my preferred driving position.

Thanks Rob, a little TLC and somebody would have themselves a really nice car. Took it for a short spin yesterday and apart from the stuck on brakes (where she's been stood a while) she was perfect, very smooth, comfortable and surprisingly nippy. The brake problem only shows on the L/H display when they are applied hard (display shows "worn brake pads") just don't have the time or money to sort it - but a fairly straight forward fix. All in all a nice good looking motor.

My car has a similar brake light message even after changing the pads and discs! The warning light loom had been cut by the previous owner on the NS. I reconnected it and on came the warning light :( Ended up leaving it disconnected and just keep an eye on the pads.

That's very interesting Rob, don't think its the case with my car though as there was no warning displayed for the first month of ownership. I haven't got round to physically checking the pads yet, but I'm pretty sure they are worn.
