Why does that not surprise me?xmexclusive wrote:It would seem that Citroen altered the wiring of this switch during the XM mk1 production.
Yes that would be good. I'll pm you details.I can recover and send you a contact with a short length of wire if you want to add the B2 to A2 link into your wiring

Re: Gold 2.0Si
The originals of these diagrams came from the Mk1 main (LHD) section.
The index listed the second two as revised looms.
I looked in the RHD for the same information and drew a blank.
No equivalent diagrams present.
Come across this before and think if a loom is common to both LHD and RHD Citroen did not repeat the information.
It would have helped a lot if they had confirmed this in writing.
Hi Chris
I wanted to avoid adding three separate scanned drawings to the website that people would need to print or flip between to spot the differences.
So I marked them up and cut and pasted complete with leaking red felt tip finger prints.
I thought I might ask Russ to turn it into a decently readable drawing.
I had no idea that Citroen had changed the stalk just to make life difficult.
If it had not been for EddieN picking up on the contact pin changes I would not have started the wiring diagram search.
I just cannot believe that this problem has not appeared before yet no one seemed to know or have raised it before.
I did get a bit worried when MTXM suggested using component plastic colour to fault find electrical problems.
