I have an XM/605 4HP20 transmission and torque converter from a 1999 ES9 XM for sale in good condition.
It has done 183,000 km (115,000 miles). The previous owner of the car had the fluid changed at some point. I have driven the car about 300 km and the transmission behaved itself perfectly.
I would always recommend having the torque converter reconditioned and fitting a new oil filter to a 4HP20 before putting into a vehicle, as this should ensure another 150,000 miles of trouble-free motoring.
Note that this is not directly interchangeable with units fitted to Xantia/406 as the ratios are different
The transmission is located in Beaune France. Price to be discussed.

This is always a nice place to come for a short holiday...SteveLP wrote: It is a bit far away though!
If I get a change to transport it to the UK, I will let you know, but I don't have a trip planned this year.
