If you need a good sealant, get hold of some polyurethane sealant (available in clear and various colours) - any good builders' merchants or ferreteria (as they say here). Sticks to all materials, and is sliceable for removal. Clean up with solvent/alcohol first. It's what's used for fitting windscreens.

In order to make that work I'd need the tank with pump and seals intact else I'm back to square one.

I'll have a look for some polyurethane sealant tomorrow.

The headlining's been a pain to do, waiting for it harden off in the cold, applying layer after layer. But it's done now - just a matter of getting it covered.

Just want to get the bloody car on the road now to enjoy this gorgeous weather.

Eddie, my car has the earlier washer bottle and it is currently off the car!

I can pull my pumps out and give you some dimensions if that will help.
