Talking of windscreens, i had a nice shiney new one fitted on Tuesday. It had to be ordered via a Citroen dealer as, apparently, they are not available after-market.

How are you transporting the car from Pauls to yours...more importantly how much is it costing?

The last sed I broke had a brand new screen in it with a top tint.. by christ was I pissed off when I cracked it trying to remove it.. its all down to the hardness of the bond.. I had the proper removal tools oo..

yogs screen is good . prehaps some corner laminate lift.. but I've been well annoyed ive not been able to save many screens.. as for quarters.. ive pleanty now.. 4 I think last count. Not sure if im taking them out yet or not but having four I dont think I really needs to..

Are you doing a relay, if so, do you have suitable transport that will be empty at some stage?

I wish you luck with the Prestige project Dean, although personally I would also opt for a manual conversion given my experience with the V6 and HP18 auto box! Please let me know if i can assist with any kind of advice or even parts, given I have pulled out, stripped rebuilt and refitted a few PRV engines in recent years! On the windscreen unless the condition was perfect I would not bother myself, since I had one professionally removed that then cracked while handling! I have also had a number of screens replaced and there has never been a problem with sourcing - I think the last one was branded Pilkington! With regards, Matthew T.

I'm not sure how I'm moving it but I won't be, I've had shiply quotes that are cheaper than doing it myself although very expensive and im talking to a few of my hauliers to see if they could collect with a grab and bring it back on a return trip at some time.
I have to go and see Paul next month but I will be coming back with at least 2 engines, maybe 3 weight and space dependant, I'm actually down the weighbridge now seeing what I can actually carry on the mitsubeastie.

I don't care about the windscreen, had no problem getting one but the trims are unobtainium so the screen will be sacrificed for their preservation.

The engine going in the car will be stock+
The spare would be cleaner with a single turbo and haltech ecu, that's for when mine is done though.

What are you thinking of moving Will?

Thanks Matt, I actively want to stay auto, its very of the time and works well with the car being a cruiser

Haltech... Very MCM! And probably a very good choice.
A bit like Matthew, I'm surprised your not going manual too, but can totally understand about keeping the auto.
I kind of can't wait for you to get started!!!

Neither can i Russ, unfortunatly i have just started work on the Bathroom, the final room in the house, once that is done i am free, FREE!!!!! mwhahahaha!.

But until then ive got to turn the single skin extension that smells of cheese, mould and rotten wood into a pallace somehow and there will be no spannering until i have so no more thinking about cars!
