MANUAL 2.1TD SILVER ESTATE!! :-) = S1 though :-(

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

You could easily tidy it up by buying this guys rear bumper and a door from him.

I know, I've been watching it - tearing me apart it is. :?

Distance is no problem - just a question of could I live with a Mk1. :(

The front bumper would be the main difference - rear should work. But goddammit,
I'm watching that osf wing and nosecone with a view to fitting them on the W reg my
Father's using! There are NO doors available - I've already asked...

I prefer the extra definition the black scuttle trim and mirrors make to the shape just as Citroen intended it!

So let me see, even allowing for purely cosmetic aesthetically balanced passenger mirror, there's possibly better
rear wheelarches and sills on the S1 estate, original looks and NO windbags. A wins all round scenario.

And don't go banging on about earths and dodgy electrics! Even if they are still appalling as they haven't been
upgraded in the first few dealer services in it's early life, it's not exactly difficult to renew the original centrally
plugged in earths on the inner wings!

S1's rule yay! 8-) ;)

The first one I had was a 'K' reg and it was only about three years old and cost me a lot of money. :o It also went wrong a lot, my second Mk1 also gave me a lot of hassle, the Mk2s have been very reliable even at very high mileages. I know logically that there is not that much difference but I have had a lot more Mk2s and have just got used to them I suppose. I think I actualy prefer the design of them, the door mirrors give a better view and the access to the engine is better in some areas. I have'nt ruled it out though. :D

I just checked on the DVLA website and this is a 2.1 td auto........all you need is a manual box to put in it and it's just what you want Peter ;)

So what am I reading!? :?

It's better having a crashed and damaged, incomplete (as it's being dismantled) AUTOMATIC
because it's a series 2 than a fully mot'd 60something k mile manual series1 in the desired colour!!!

I've found x3 series2's I've bought to be nice enough but more trouble and rustier than x30 series 1's!!
No kidding or BS! :D
