Ah. Talking of the Peugeot 605, what is the "elastic" components in the top of the front supension turretts and why are there what appear to be vented hoses connected and leading down to the chassis rail?

Didnt the 605 have variable damping? Peugeots attempt at simple, reliable hydractive........

no idea then, what pictures are you looking at?
Didnt know they used the hydractive ecu, never had the chance to get under the bonnet of one though.

Not a picture, Kev Sanders brougt his 605 to last years X-Rally and it had some strange hoses connected to what appeared to be air bellows mounted in the strut top bearing area. The hoses then went down to the chassis leg.
