1992 Citroen XM 2.1 turboSED automatic. Silver Moss with black leather interior.
MOT'd until 26th March 2018, with NO advisories. Approx 136000 miles (need to confirm mileage) fully working automatic climate control with ice cold air conditioning.
Working original infra red remote central locking.

This car has spent the last 18 months or so having most of its underside rebuilt. I bought it in a very poor condition, and vowed that it would be saved, being a rare turbodiesel automatic, in top SED trim and very rare Silver Moss in colour.

The car was featured in November 2016's Citroenian, which is a magazine for Citroen Car Club Members. The article was about the amount of work undertaken and the determination to save the car.

I have several XM's and I'm needing to clear space for other projects, I simply have no use for this XM so I am offering it for sale.

The body work is good, there is a dent on the near side rear panel, and a couple of scratches, nothing unusual for a 25 year old car. This is something a new owner can attend to. The tyres are in good order too. The autobox changes smoothly too.
I recently drove this car from its storage place on Merseyside to Coventry, and then onto X-Rally at Burghley house in Stamford and then back to Merseyside without any problems whatsoever, and the car returned approx 42mpg.

The car is far from perfect, but it has potential to be a very special car indeed.
