XM V6 24v ES9 Converted to full Mk1 spec For Sale

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

That is encouraging news Mike as separate removal of the PRV HP18 auto box is certainly not possible! The ESJ9 engine is more compact as you say, presumably due being a 60 rather than 90 degree 'V'! With regards, Matthew T.

If I wasn't up to my neck in several other things currently I'd buy this.

You are soo right Ciaran!

I wonder if the gearbox problem you have is a cracked flex plate and/or starter ring as I experienced with my 1990 PRV car, since I believe the arrangement is similar. Anyway I wish you all the very best with finding a suitable new home and out of interest what is the other project? With regards, Matthew T.
Thank you Martin and for all your help during the project. Its is annoying and I really don't have time to sort the Gearbox issue BUT of she doesn't find a good home I WILL fix her!

OOOH NO!!... I thought my XM days were over, I though I'd made a clean getaway, no more "what the hell's wrong with it this time !!", I mean the only thing that could tempt me back is a S1 V6 with the ES9 engine but luckily they don't exist ........... or so I thought.
Having considered this conversion myself I would be very interested to know how involved it is. How do you deal with missing air bags with regards to the MOT, I'm assuming its a S2 car ?
