Sadly this is too much for me to bite off now, shame as I really like the car. As I have to pay someone to work on it, and without knowing the condition of the bottom end, gearbox and suspension (as it doesn't run) I'm going to offer it to you guys for what it owes me for the purchase and recovery.

If no one wants it on here I will sell it as a parts car on eBay.

Can anyone interested drop me a line? Will hold it for 7-10 days to try and keep it in the club here

Has the cam cover been pulled off to check how many valves are bent (if any)? or has any indication been given as to the state of the engine?

The car is at my friends workshop which is on the outskirts of Derby at the moment, about 15 miles from Ashby and probably a bit more handy for those near the M1 (well the midlands bit anyway!). I am sure my friend would store it a little while for someone, as long as they didnt take the mick! Drop me a PM if you are willing to cover my costs to take it away.

Keen for someone on here to have it rather than it having to go on fleabay and take my chances on there.

As I say its as it was with a much, much, much cleaner inside!

Its such a shame I really love everything about it but as my mate says I have 6 cars in various stages of 'restoration' I should put my efforts into sorting one of those first!
