You're right about the colours. Mine is (now) near perfection and has the rare petrol engine and gas conversion, so I couldn't be choosy, I just had to jump when it came up. Would prefer a lighter interior and maybe silver colour. This White / black combo is pretty striking.
Back to XM's: Early XM colours were more adventurous for a big executive car. The finest having been Olympic Blue, in my opinion.

I doubt the white/black combo is a factory paint finish, especially since thwe wheels are colour coded the same bright white. There appear to be two identical cars and the pictures show dark/black door shuts, so I suspect the cars have either been resprayed or wrapped in white.
On further checking the C6 registered one is shown as Grey on DVLA and in close inspection appears a brighter white than the later car. I suspect they have been rejigged for wedding car hire, especially as Oak Garage have a Citroen Traction in wedding car garb on Google maps.

If the pricing is realistic, it sure throws a spanner in the Citroen depreciation v German brands depreciation argument. No 2006 E class diesel is going to fetch nearly £10k.
