1990 2.1 Turbo SD for Sale

Hi Folks,

It has been a few years since I have been on here in any active form. Since then I have got married, built a house, and have 2 children under the age of 2 years old.

With my change in circumstances, I now wish to sell the car to part fund the purchase of a touring caravan.

To the car itself, I did have a thread on here from a few years ago. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2766
The only pictures showing are those from when I first bought it.

1990 2.1 Turbo SD Manual in white. I have owned it since 2011, and it has been used as a summer/hobby car and sometimes pressed into daily service when needed.

The car is currently wearing a set of Etoile/starfish alloy wheels and the mileage is at 32,500.

Its MOTd to June, but will be put through the test again early.

The car is located in Northern Ireland.

Robert - you don’t know me but you helped my dad out with a wing mirror and a coolant expansion tank a few years ago for a Mauritius blue 98 CT estate which is still running strong- needing a bit of TLC but so far so good ! Thanks for your contribution to the forum. I have learned lots - you have certainly lived up to your name! Congratulations on your family! Are you sure the xm has to go? My first xm was a 89 2.0i gold petrol that I got in 98 when my first daughter was born- it had the most wonderful ride but was plagued with electrical problems. but I went back for another and when we immigrated to Canada in 2003 I brought a 1992magenta one with us - electrics were much better great ride too. Anyway hope you find a good home - if I was in the wee North I’d be sorely tempted as I know it is well looked after.

I was also pleased to see your update Robert and we have certainly missed you on the Forum and at the CCC events. It appears that the last post you made was in November 2015! Hopefully a suitable new owner will be found for the car, which clearly is a very nice early example and what amazingly low mileage! With regards, Matthew T.
