Might just take it off and have a good look, if the inner seals can't be done then it will need a total replacement

Just undo everything connecting it to the body, then drop the subframe.

It is only 1 nut and 1 bolt that holds the ram in place, plus there are 2 pipes that need disconnected, and the ram will slide out

Can you undo those pipe unions in situ and can the ram be removed with the heat shield still in the cavity? Some engine versions don't allow the heat shield to be withdrawn before the rack is out.

Degens engine is out, so access will be easy.

It can be removed, by sliding to the right and then left and then angle downward and pull out, but first you need to have the ram rod push right in, making the whole of the in it shortest length

Thanks. I've never tried undoing the feed pipes in situ.

Don't forget to release the pressure first
