Wolsley House XM's

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Wolsley House XM's

Post by endorfin » Fri Oct 15, 2010 3:24 pm

I emailed WHM about an item on ebay (trying to get a reduction in price!) and I mentioned this forum and they replied that they had 30 plus XM's that they need to sell otherwise they're going to get weighted in.

I suggested he join this forum & list them here.

Don't know if he will but if he's selling them at weigh in price maybe worth getting one for spare parts?

In my experience Danny isn't a forum man but who knows...he might join.

Aswell as the 30+ XMs he's also got barns and barns full of CXs...once again around the 30 figure IIRC. 8-)

At reasonable prices too.. I enquired about a front end for an xm, and was surprised to hear, it was around
twice what I paid for my car at £400.
Not bad eh?

I genuinely have running cars that will need to go imminently and some aren't a great amount more than
their scrap value so buy to scrap or run please! I don't know how I'll cope watching them grabbed off the
new trailer at the weigh in yard.

Check out my ad in sales and wants. Possible delivery at cost. I just want to see them live but don't
run a charity where they're free. Will aim to get piccies this weekend.

Pics of the CXs would be great please Andrew - I'll PM my email as that's probably easier.

TIA.

Well Andrew, I'm crying out for a lock set inc transponder & plippers so if any of yours have a set that will suit a S2 XM I'd be interested. If you need to have a working ignition barrel with key in order to sell it afterwards I'd be happy to send you my key & barrel after fitting the donor.

WHM Motors have a full set but at silly money as usual.

I don't know how some of the breakers make any money, I have been looking for a rear seat for the beemer but they only sell them in sets, from about £250 - £500, there are loads of people advertising them at 'buy it now' prices in that region, last week a set went on no reserve auction - they sold for £31.00! Unfortunatly they were for a saloon. Are we to believe that the dealers are selling any for that price?

Some breakers ask silly money, as you say, how do some make a living?

Andmcit, I read about your stolen 'items' on FCF. Really nasty business. I'm also sorry you have to get rid of all your cars - it sounds like time isn't on your side. I wish I could help, XMs are far too special to be scrapped. Have you tried Savoy Garages? He may be interested
