Thought the New 3.0 PSA V6 is 238 a year!

So its only the awful Dagenham 2.7 lump thats bad!

Thats interesting.. but 6Pots only for me if I was going to buy a C6..

what is intersting is that would indicate that the 3.0 PSA V6 consumes less fuel than the 2.7 TD as CO2 emisions are directly related to MPG, so why is anyone buying the V6 TD?

In the XM, a V6 really makes a difference, but in the C6 I've been in (David's ex diesel), it's all so inaudible that I'd think you wouldn't realise the difference anyway. Same sterilised feeling I'm getting from my friend's BMWs -u just wouldn't know there's an engine in there. In terms of power delivery quality, the HDi in my newly acquired Xant is so smooth that I'm still wondering if the turbo is at fault (!), so I guess the 2.2 would just be even further improved...

I'd go for a 3.0V6 Hdi. Nice and smooth and refined, same fuel consumption as a 2.2.

I'd go for a 3.0 HDI as well. But I'll end up with a 2.7 HDi for a number of reasons, there are more of them about, they will be cheapest soonest, and the tax will put people off! The oldest C6s are about 5 years old. How is C6 depreciation compared to XM depreciation. When the oldest Xms were 5 years old, I was 11....

We've got the 2.7 HDi and dad will be upgrading to the 3.0 HDi when the time is right - 2.7 is still nice though!

He won't be parting with it for any old reason though, as it's his 'right' spec - black with black leather and a bit higher than average miles at mid-50s (which made it cheaper).
