XM 24v Exclusive '00 for sale 110K miles

Hi All

After only driving 2000miles in the last 9months in our XM is come time to sell her. With 3 cars it's not getting any use and I'd like to see it go to another Citroën lover.

This is my 3rd XM V6 and certainly the best.

Citroën XM 24v Exclusive

Registered June 2000. 2 previous owners. Owned for 6 years.

Black, black leather interior
Tax and MOT until June- although I can get a new MOT if wanted.
110,000miles, full service history. Main dealer to 72k and independent onwards.

Good bits.

Full service history - a big sheaf of bills and all previous MOTs. Gearbox reconn’ed at 84K and cam belt changed (at BL Autos). New battery, rear tyres new and front tyres 2-3mm over bars. Full stainless steel exhaust. All electronics working (all four heated seats, climate control, electric seats, sun roof, dipping rear mirror, all electric windows, front headlamp washers). Body work in good condition (some small scrapes ). Drives very well with smooth gearbox changes, soft feeling suspension and good engine power. No leaks and no sinking! Strut tops showing no rust and no rust underneath. Interior glazing in place and interior in good shape. Seats in good condition (no rips / tears), with frequent leather conditioning.

Bad bits.

Some corrosion to chrome strips. Left had side LED display ~50% pixels visible (although car will come with a spare which had majority of pixels visible when removed from donor car). Lamp gone on dashboard gear display. A few dog hairs in boot (occasionally used for dog transportation!). One front jacking point folded over by clumsy trye fitter. Alarm code panel cover missing and backlight to radio dim.

Hi Folks

I've taken an offer and MOT being passed, it's on it's way to Edinburgh.

It didn't hang around long did it! I'm glad it's going to some other XM enthusiasts - which was my main aim. Hence I'm not looking for any other offers - higher or not.

I popped into a local Auto book sellers the other day and was told of an XM TD that had been for sale a few miles away. It was gone in a day or two.
