XM V6 1989 MANUAL looking for a new home

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Nahhh, you don't want that Paul! ;)

The manual gearbox is a load of rubbish on an Xm and doesn't suit it at all; ALL Xm's need to be auto's... ;)
Isn't that what I keep reading?

Actually, in truth, I'd be foolish not to consider the manual box and I now don't have a spare v6 manual box
- the pikeys stole mine when all the alloys etc were taken from my barn a while back. :(

I've been in touch with Dave and am making plans for an imminent rescue mission.

Mind, I've no idea whether the ratios are the exact match for the 12v and 24v!
I'll need a look at the figures in that supplement I've posted up as a pdf!

The box I "lost" which was probably weighe4d in for scrap was off a 24v too!!

Dave - that's actually a photo of the V6 that Andrew is about to save - I remembered seeing it over on the old forum and navigated around 'manually' to find it.

My blue car now has a full MOT after some tricky welding - I was quite pleased with myself. It could still do with a replacement subframe at some point in the future. Sadly it is still stuck in sports mode. It looks as if the electical connection to the electro-valve is badly corroded, or possibly melted.

I will post some info when I have time to actually do some work on the car.
