Blue Vsx Estate for sale

My Indie popped round with one of his customers who is selling a vsx "M" registed 2.1 diesel automatic estate in blue with 85,000 milis on the clock this vehicle has had a modified gearbox fitted to it from new with different dear racios it changes up at much lower speeds and is able to run in 4th gear at 30 mph it is also fitted with a black leather interior and headlight washers,sunroof, but no cruise control? for further details ring Stan on 01708-452376 for more information,

Hi Norman,

Did you drive the car? 4th at 30, it must be labouring badly. I stuck a petrol valve block on one of my 2.1 auto boxes, and it changed into 4th at 40mph, and the car was labouring a fair bit then; I think 45 would be a good compromise.

No i didn't i was at work at the time but it maybe a good idea to give him a ring and confim what i said i may be wrong.

If it's in 4th at 30mph it will only do about 90mph tops.

I suspect it has the wrong differential ratio and can't understand it being from new, it wasn't an option.

Yes you are right it wasn't a option, he took it back to citroen and said it wasn't "fit for purpose" and citroen arranged with ZF to fit a different ratio gearbox.
