Two Cheapies on Trovit

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Two Cheapies on Trovit

Post by markysimon » Wed Feb 08, 2012 9:09 am

Here's a link to a brace of saloons advertised on Trovit, a 2.1 oil-burner and a VSX Turbo. Both in London, one in need of a window regulator... it seems.

Why don't we do it in the road?

Mark thats not not quite right, as your link has only two XM's listed of which one is Roberts (NI)

Also for Robert's XM listing you made the OP, as in THIS thread !

The other XM belongs to 'Feisal' (Off this forum) which I spotted on Gumtree and also now on E-Bay as per THIS thread !

Also had you not read Peter's post for A SIGN OF TIMES with several XM's listed on the Trovit site ?

Can't understand what went wrong: I copied and pasted the URL which certainly did NOT feature Robert's car and now I've clicked on it just shows one of the two London cars. Back to the drawing board, then. And I'll read the thread about Trovit cars, head hung in shame.

And no, although mine is still suffering malfunctions after being put back together by an ignorant if honest garage following its vandalisation, I'm not after another XM.... yet! ;)

Hi Mark

There is no shame in being picked up on a point of detail by XMX.
Treat it as a accolade, he catches up with virtually all of us eventually.
I tend to do the same to posters on points of technical detail.

John
