Alloy wheel bolts

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

There is a breaker advertising on ebay at the moment, v6 24v and v612v, with the usual line, 'if you bid on this listing all you will get is a wheel bolt' . He helpfully includes a picture of a wheel bolt, but I doubt it came from the cars in question. Perhaps contact him before bidding? Here is the link

All the wheel nuts on my cars have been wire brushed and spray painted that I have found to be quite successful. Do let me know if you cannot get any better bolts elsewhere. Regards, Matthew T. PS. I had heard that Patrick recently sold a set of wheels!
The wheel bolts on our Xm are starting to look a bit aged now.

I bought some chrome looking plastic covers from ebay, for about £10 or something, in the hope they would fit the XMs bolts. They did fit however I got the wrong size, they were too long and so stuck out from the face of the alloy wheels. If you could find some more flush fitting covers im sure they would look very smart.

I stuck those ones on the Xantia and they look excellent, I'll get some smaller ones for the XM.

I have removed and sprayed the bolts on all our cars that seems to hold up quite well. Obviously you do get a bit of damage to the paint on the edges from the wheel brace but is is hardly noticeable really. With regards, Matthew T.
