Hi
Would anyone have a speedo cable for sale - it has a plastic clip that clips onto the back of the speedo unit and a conventional threaded connection on the other end. It's about 18 inches long, for LHD car.
Also looking for the chevrons that go onto the beasts front grill.

Is the cable in 2 parts or is it a one piece cable? I have never been that close to a LHD car so to speak. Our RHD cars have 2 cables, a long one which goes from the clocks and throught he bulkhead to attach to the shorter cable which slots into the speed sensor.
Perhaps yours is the same. I guess the cable is shorter than ours since it doesn't have to travel as far to get from the clocks to the gearbox.
Here is the relevant screenshot from Citroen Parts.
Part number 51 makes reference to RHD cables. Number 1 is for the LHD cars. So at that rate of going, you have 2 cables as we do, but it will be shorter.
A RHD cable would do the job as long as there is sufficient space to store the extra slack, and not have too sharp a bend on it. A speedo cable specialist may be the answer. Or asking in some of the French forums eg Planete Citroen for a LHD used item.

The speedo cable is different left or right hand drive, the RHD one is much longer.
What is wrong with yours. The nylon clip part can be successfully repaired quite easily, if the inner cable is broken, have one made up by speedy cables.
