S2 VSX with LPG For Sale

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

S2 VSX with LPG For Sale

Post by markysimon » Wed May 30, 2012 7:54 am

There a nice looking 1998 VSX hatch with LPG conversion on Trovit/Gumtree, albeit with horrible alloy wheels, but cheap:

I could probably live with the alloys, but I'm not very keen on the bonnet vents or the louvres on the rear wings just above the back wheels.

Alloys are easily changed. Personally, I wonder if this engine is harder/more expensive-difficult to upkeep than the 2.0 i. 16v. Would be nice to swop the old Xantia for an even older, but blue XM with gas conversion..

I was just going to post that, good job I checked. Can't see the point of the wheels, you might as well put flat spheres on.

Agree that the alloys could be easily swopped - if at some cost - but you're right about the louvres. The latter do, however, suggest that the LPG conversion was well and expensively executed... :|

Someone might go for it, though!

That has been for sale for agggges, and was on e-bay a few months ago also. Albeit at a much inflated price.
