Yes I know what you mean about the reserve Robert, but who knows what it is!! At least the starting price was not too high to discourage bids and hopefully things will hot up tomorrow as you suggest. With regards, Matthew T.

I don't set reserves for the barrier reason, and also the cost. They charge a proportion of reserve amount to set one as well if I am not mistaken.

E-bay is an expensive place to sell cars. But thats where the punters usually are though.

You are correct Robert, there is a charge for the reserve, although ebay does give a good circulation. The auction served me quite well the last time I sold a car so here's hoping!! Regards, Matthew T.

The price went up from £890 to £1,131 in the last 30 secs as two bidders fought it out, but unfortunately did not reach the reserve. Now re-listed with NO RESERVE and a Buy-it-Now price!!

Why not just contact the highest bidder and offer it at the price you want, if they aren't interested offer it to the 2nd highest.

I would avoid running it again if possible, they rarely achieve more 2nd time round.

I have run the auction again because there seem to be at least two people interested and prepared to pay around £1,200 and I would like to get the best price I can. If it does not sell for the starting figure so be it and I will be happy to keep the car. I think given the spec and condition something approaching £1,750 ought to to be achieved, but perhaps I am too optimistic! Regards, Matthew T.
